God of War Laufey

The next chapter of the legendary God of War franchise
Death was supposed to be the end, but for Laufey (Faye), warrior and wife to Kratos, a new adventure is just beginning. Awakening unexpectedly in a strange land after her death, Faye discovers the plans she put in place to protect Kratos and Atreus in her absence are now at risk.

To save the ones she loves, Faye must fight through the afterlife of the gods – the Everywhen – where ruthless gods from across mythology vie for power in a land overflowing with dangerous magic.

Harness Faye's speed, control and relentlessness to overwhelm even the fiercest of foes with decisive, deadly precision.

FEATURES

• Find your way home
Play as Laufey (Faye) – warrior, wife to Kratos, and mother to Atreus. A powerful and unyielding fighter, Faye once used her legendary battle prowess to face down even the mightiest Aesir.

Now in the afterlife of the gods, she will test her skills against foes from mythologies far beyond the one she knew in the Nine Realms.

• A vast world to explore
Explore the afterlife of the gods – the Everywhen. The origin and endpoint of all magic, gods from across mythologies vie for power across a land full of strange, unexpected beauty and impossible dangers. Faye will need to uncover the hidden mysteries of the Everywhen if she is to have any hope of finding her way home.

• Unleash the power of Giants
No stranger to legendary weapons, Faye acquires a powerful new sword upon her arrival in the Everywhen. In her expert hands, she builds momentum from one attack to the next, unleashing a relentless onslaught against her foes.

Strike Faye’s opponents with Jötnar magic so potent it rends soul from body. Attack their very essence directly to deal devastating damage or set up creative combos that can be used to dominate the battlefield.

Combining the strengths of modern God of War’s intimate, brutal combat system with classic Greek saga mobility – Laufey’s combat will feel fresh, yet familiar to fans of the series.

• A legendary trio
On her journey, Faye is joined by two powerful companions: Rue and Phranque.

Rue is a set of enchanted ribbons which serve as the guardian of Faye's sword. Tasked with keeping its immense power from falling into the wrong hands, Rue's heavy responsibility makes her both fiercely protective and slow to trust.

Phranque is a determined cosmic cube with deep ties to the Everywhen. As conflict seeps throughout the afterlife of the gods, Phranque is committed to protecting his home and the many creatures that reside there from further harm.
